How to play

The box is hiding a rule. Something like "at least two red tiles", though usually sneakier.

Press "Ask the box". It answers yes or no about your row, and nothing else. Change a tile, ask again. The two columns fill up, and the rule is whatever separates them.

When you spot it, hit Prove it and sort eight rows you haven't seen. You never have to put the rule into words. Fewer probes is a better score.

An AI plays the same box every morning and its score is at the top of the page. Nothing here can be pasted into ChatGPT: the rule only exists on the server, so the only way at it is experiments.
